It might be useful for you to produce totals of numerical values. For instance, how many hours is John planned to work, or how many hours should Alex work in week 41.

In other projects you might want to add up costs or some other numerical value.

Any aspect which contains numerical values may have its totals shown at the bottom of a view. In a column view the totals are shown for each column and for all items being shown. (Items which are hidden by a filter are not included in the total!)

Use:

1. In the menu choose "View | Show totals...".
2. Select the aspect whose values should be totalled. In the above example that was "Hours (planned)".
